ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES – ORANGE COUNTY, LOS ANGELES AND SAN DIEGO

Covering the specified territory, the Account Executive will prospect for commercial and industrial facility clients, working with our technical audit and installation teams, and successfully managing the sales cycle through closure of orders for Electrical Energy Conservation equipment. Key to this position is previous ground-zero experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively prospect for and close new clients in the assigned territory.
- Coordinate the audit, proposal, closing, installation and customer satisfaction process from end to end
- Achieve or exceed given sales targets
- Submit a monthly sales and activity forecast, update the CRM system daily, update management as requested and participate in weekly sales meetings
Qualifications:
- A four-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- A general understanding of the electrical power industry and its related terms/jargon.
- At least 3 years of business-to-business (B2B) successful account management and account development experience, calling on CEO/CFO senior management personnel.
- Consistent “Top 10%” Performer, President’s Club or equivalent.
- Experience using CRM packages such as Salesforce.com.
- A strong sales hunter of prospective markets & new clients with a minimal amount of supervision and guidance.
- A background in electrical/electronic equipment sales to the commercial/industrial end user market is a strong asset.
- Experience working for Demand Response, or Demand Side Management companies would be a strong asset.
