ELECTRICAL TECHNICIANS – TORONTO
The Electrical Technician will conduct voltage optimization assessments (audits) in order to evaluate buildings and their suitability for the installation of the Electrical Harmonizer-AVR. The Auditor will also perform and supervise installations of the Electrical Harmonizer-AVR in buildings that acquire it and conduct and oversee measurement and verification for the purpose of tracking the correct performance of the Electrical Harmonizer-AVR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts Voltage Optimization Assessments, providing analysis and creating reports suitable for proposals
- Coordinates Installation Services:
- Project management for Electrical Harmonizer-AVR installations
- Engineering plan for Electrical Harmonizer-AVR installations
- Measurement and verification for reporting
- Power quality capture and analysis
- Power factor correction services
- Harmonic distortion solutions
- Thermal inspection of electrical distribution systems
- Lighting design consultancy
- New technology application
- Company business plan consulting
- Health and safety risk analysis
- Liaises with customers to secure relevant billing history and technical data
- Provides education and training to audit team, sales team, customers as required.
- Coordinates with sales team in booking and performing audits of buildings suitable for the Electrical Harmonizer-AVR
- Provides technical information in order to ensure the effective communication between the sales team and the customers.
- Works in conjunction with the VP, Operations to resolve technical matters with installed Electrical Harmonizer-AVRs or challenges with upcoming installations.
- Carries out other related projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Electrical Engineering Technologist or equivalent experience
- Experience: 2+yrs experience with building energy audits or lighting retrofit consulting
- Currently holding valid Electricians License
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Proven supervisory experience
- Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as in a team environment
- Excellent task prioritization and organizational skill
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to meet deadlines and succeed in a fast paced environment
