Douglas H. Blakeway

Mr. Blakeway is currently the Managing Director of G4S Justice Services (Canada) Inc. since September 2006. In 1985, Mr. Blakeway founded Strategic Technologies Inc., a publicly traded wireless RFID (Remote Frequency Identification) company, and was President and Chief Executive Officer until 2006. He has extensive connections in the security and policing sectors internationally and holds security clearances in both Canada and the U.S. His numerous business interests focus on the security and wireless telecommunications industries.

As a successful entrepreneur, over the past 30 years, he has founded and operated a number of successful endeavors from service oriented companies to high technology electronic manufacturing. His vision and tenacity resulted in the founding of WM Aviation – the publicly traded parent company of WM Helijet Airways, the first regional helicopter service in British Columbia.

Since 1982, Mr. Blakeway has been a Director of a number of public companies on the TSX Venture Exchange and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Listed Company Association (LCA). Mr. Blakeway serves on audit and corporate governance committees and with his knowledge of the policies and procedures for listing Capital Pool Companies (CPCs) on the TSX Venture Exchange has facilitated the successful qualification of several CPCs as Tier 1 or Tier 2 Issuers. He is presently a Director of eReservation Systems Corp., an Internet travel company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Mr. Blakeway is also a proven entrepreneur and inventor with most of his industrial designs resulting in patents being issued. The designs and patents range from a rotary engine, a portable diamond drill feed, a fluid management system, a fuel flash separator, a log and finished lumber sorter, and a step and repeat imaging system for infrared night viewing devices.

Mr. Blakeway is a member of TEC (The Executive Committee), an international organization for CEOs.
