Electrical Harmonizer-AVR Overview

The Electrical Harmonizer with an automatic voltage regulator (AVR) is a patented energy conservation device built around an ultra low loss three phase voltage optimization transformer.

The Harmonizer component adjusts the incoming voltage to the optimum operating level for each facility as dictated by an extensive pre-installation assessment. Currently, the Harmonizer can optimize the incoming voltage by 0% (bypass), 2%, 4% or 6%, creating a significant reduction in energy consumption and peak demand. Power grids will fluctuate on a regular basis so flexibility in the rate of voltage optimization is critical to maximizing conservation and eliminating risk.

The AVR component enables the Harmonizer to automatically adjust the level of voltage optimization in harmony with load fluctuations and will default to by-pass mode in the event the voltage supply falls below the optimal minimum.

The Electrical Harmonizer-AVR maximizes voltage optimization, improves power quality and operates at an efficiency of greater than 99.5%.

The conservation savings from numerous installations have been independently measured and verified by BC Hydro.
