BC Hydro

Legend Power Systems Inc. (LPSI) installed Electrical Harmonizers in BC Hydro Corporate and Edmonds buildings.

Based on pre-installation audits a 750 amp Electrical Harmonizer was installed at the corporate building and a 400 amp Electrical Harmonizer at the Edmonds building.

These buildings were Power Smart Certified by BC Hydro prior to the installation and both buildings still generated significant savings. The results of these installations were verified by a third party consultant.

Since the installation of the Electrical Harmonizers the following results have been achieved and will be persistent into the future:

Corporate

• 375,820 kWhrs reduction in annual energy consumption (7%)
• 105 kW reduction in peak demand

Edmonds

• 440,000 kWhrs reduction in annual energy consumption (7%)
• 60 kW reduction in peak demand

Since the installation of the Electrical Harmonizers at the Corporate and Edmonds BC Hydro buildings on June 2006 and September 2005 respectively the facilities electrical distribution systems have operated with optimized efficiency.
